Mountain Prints:
What would this earth, or this life, be without mountains?
Making a woodblock print I think of as much like climbing mountains . . . often not easy, but exhilirating when you reach the top!

Prints are grouped loosely in chronological order of when they were first issued.

Notice some prints labeled "second" or "third" state. This refers to a significant re-working of the print involving new blocks and colors.

Many of these images involve Smarts Mtn., a 3200' high mountain in the back part of the town of Lyme where I live. Smarts is a great mountain. My favorite section of the Appalachian Trail is along its Lambert Ridge shoulder, and its enjoying its aspect from places in Lyme and neighboring towns is a unifying and dominant part of living in the Upper Valley.
